Introduction to Preventative Maintenance

Our online workshops will help to get your equipment back in working order! By joining our Microscope or Balance online trainings you’ll be able to perform a basic maintenance and fix the most common minor issues between your annual servicing!

You will also receive a Certificate of Completion and a copy of the presentation after you complete the workshop.

Available Workshops

Microscope Maintenance

  • Identify parts of the biological and dissection microscopes.
  • Identify common microscope issues and how to fix these issues.
  • How to conduct a basic regular microscope maintenance.
  • How to use turn a microscope into a digital one.

Balance & Pipette Maintenance

  • Discover balance functions you didn’t know were there.
  • Identify common issues and how to fix these issues.
  • Learn about the importance of calibration and decontamination.
  • Learn about the components and how they work.

Preparation

This workshop will be completely live and online. In preparation, please download Zoom.

After you submit the booking form, an invoice will be sent to your nominated email address within 3-5 business days.

Please note that the invoice is the confirmation that you are booked in.

An email with Zoom details will be sent to your email 7 days prior to the workshop date and a reminder email will be sent 1 day prior to the workshop date.

Refund Policy

If you can no longer make it to the workshop, please contact us at least 3 days before the scheduled event date. 

No refund will be given to cancellations made within 3 days of the workshop.
