LabStar Rewards Terms and Conditions

PART A: General Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility:
To be eligible to be a LabStar,
(a) your organisation is a Secondary School, College, University, and TAFE;
(b) your organisation is located in Queensland*, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, and South Australia;
(c) you have a verifiable school, college, university or TAFE email address and phone number;
2. Updating your details:
As a LabStar, it is your responsibility to provide accurate, current and complete information (including your name, a verifiable email address and phone number)
3. Access to your LabStar Rewards
LabStar Rewards are used and accessed only by you and other laboratory technicians of your organisation. LabStar Rewards are non-transferable when you or other laboratory technicians of your organisation move to a different organisation. You acknowledge that may under no circumstances share your LabStar Rewards with a third party.
4. Access to LabStar status
LabStar status can be viewed on MOPS. Check your status by logging into MOPS. If you are a LabStar, a star medal will be placed on the left of your organisation’s name.
Holding an account on MOPS is free* – If you don’t have an account on MOPS, please contact us and provide your name, your organisation’s name, contact number and email address so we can help you create a new free account on MOPS.
5. Changes and modifications:
EduSupplies may, in its sole discretion and at any time (acting reasonbly):
(a) alter or amend any aspect of LabStar Rewards including any benefits, rewards, or features;
(b) terminate LabStar Rewards;
(c) modify these Terms and Conditions (e.g. in case of changes to applicable laws, changes in services and features offered by EduSupplies, or when we introduce new services or rewards);
(d) remove a LabStar title in case the organisation didn’t book another 15 or more microscopes/ balances/ and/or pipettes to be serviced within 12 months from the last service date.

Part B: LabStar Rewards
- Applying LabStar Rewards:
For new clients:
If you are a new client or you haven’t booked service with us for more than 2 years, you will need to book 15 or more microscopes/ balances/ and/ or pipettes in for the first service. You will automatically become a LabStar and be entitled to the LabStar Pricing and other exclusive benefits when you book the second service with at least 15 units.

For existing clients:
If you had 15 or more microscopes/ balances/ and/or pipetted serviced by EduSupplies in the last 12 months. You would automatically become our LabStar by booking another 15 or more microscopes/ balances and/ or pipettes to be serviced within 12 months from the last service date.
2. Benefits of LabStar Rewards
When you become a LabStar, you will receive:
(a) up to $100 worth of replacement spare parts as part of your annual service. The spare parts can be objective(s) 4x, objective(s) 10x, objective(s) 40x, an objective 100x, eyepiece(s), and bulbs.
(b) Customer Care Pack which will be gifted to you when we are servicing onsite;
(c) Discounted LabStar Pricing. From 1 July 2023, some of our prices for servicing will increase. LabStar rewards enables LabStars to secure LabStar service pricing.
