Terms and Conditions for Servicing Microscopes and Calibrating Balances and Pipettes
- Definitions
- “Service Provider” refers to the company providing servicing and calibration.
- “Client” refers to the individual or organization requesting services.
- Quotes and Pricing
- All amounts quoted are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Quotes provided are indicative only; the final invoice will be determined by the quoted price per unit multiplied by the number of units serviced.
- Additional costs for parts will be communicated and must be approved by the primary contact before proceeding with the job.
- Service Fees
- A call-out fee will be charged if the final number of serviced units is less than 15 units.
- Service Guarantee
- The Service Provider does not charge for services rendered if the item cannot be repaired or restored to working condition.
- Liability
- The Service Provider is not responsible for any damage incurred while servicing the equipment. Clients are encouraged to ensure that the equipment is appropriately prepared for service.
- Approval Process
- For any additional parts or services that are necessary during the servicing process, approval must be obtained from the primary contact on the job before proceeding.
- Payment Terms
- Unless previously agreed payment is due 14 days from receipt of the final invoice, which will reflect the services rendered and any parts used, as agreed upon during the service.
- Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws within the state which the service is completed, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with those laws.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By requesting services from the Service Provider, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.
